I think I remember seeing some nice push-pull control cables that had aluminum knobs and were engraved for their function. Would anyone know about these? I'm hoping they come in locking and non-locking flavors so I can use them for Parking Brake (locking), Alternate Air, and Cabin Heat (both non-locking).

Larry,

I used some cabinet hardware from Lowes and tapped them for the push pull cables. Panel was already labeled but I'm sure you could engrave the knobs. Just my way..BTW they are not aluminum but the weight is nominal for the three I used.

What I remember finding were nicely designed and constructed aircraft control cable assemblies. Still looking.
