Well,

A fellow builder just told me that if he had known how much the plastic ones SUCKED... he would have put those in first!

The plastic ones do leak really badly and if you are in a cold clime as I, you may want the aluminum ones.

I am gonna gettem!

aluminum vents

I have these on my 7. There is absolutely no air passage at all. The action is smooth as silk. I highly recommend these vents. The price as I remember is very good.

Thanks CJ and Darwin.

I send the black plastic one's from Vans directly back!

To be fair, the price is high but ok, if I look around, I found a few other manufacturer which are more expensive and do not have such a clean design as that one from Experimental Air.

I'll go for it and report my feelings about them.

Try http://www.experimentalair.com/ These puppies are $115.00 EA. or $120.00 EA. with a mounting kit. I have been told that one can pick up metal eyeball vents at Sun N Fun CHEAP. Since I haven't made it yet, I don't know.
