This is the most embarrassing question I've asked here but, I can't move forward until I know the answer;

Is this a "Boss" mount or a "Case" mount for the alternator?

I think I ordered a Boss mount from Vans but, received a case mount, which didn't fit anything anywhere. Since then I've been lost in the weeds.

That engine requires a boss mount alternator bracket.

Alternator kits
