Can anyone direct me to the thread that described a canopy frame made of aluminum sheet as opposed to the Vans tubular design ? It received much positive comment.

I am resurrecting a salvage project and the canopy frame is not serviceable.

You might want to check in with Dakota Hawk, he had a nice new welded aluminum RV-3 canopy frame for sale fairly cheap several weeks ago. Mine is salvageable and I am cheap, so I didn't buy it.
