I have a 60 amp Plane Power alternator and am using Bob Nuckolls architecture (Z 11). I noticed that when I have my master switch in the Batt position, the alternator warms up. Is this normal or have I miswired something??
I pulled the master switch out...sure enough I had the field wire for the Alt on terminal #6...should have been on #4. Alternator now cool in Batt position and gets warm in Alt/Batt position.
