Anybody remember the size alt. belt?
I can't seem to locate the recommendation in the manual.
I wish I would write the size down so I wouldn't have to revisit this problem every time.

Which Alternator

I have the B&C alternator which can use a shorter belt than the larger unit.
Unfortunatly I am out of town. If you do not get an answer and are using the B&C, I will be able to get you the info Friday.

A Gates XL7355 seems to work well on my new O360-A1A with a Van's refurbished "bass ackward" automobile alternator. Just fits, good tension and good cowl clearance.

I use an XL 7360 on my O360 with B&C, it's a perfect fit with the alt all the way up at the end of the slot for max cowl clearance.

I use a NAPA 7360 on my O-360-A1A with Van's 60 amp alternator.
