The handle on the top aft end of the canopy had one screw shear off two flights ago, and the other one just now. Fortunately, the two of us got the canopy open. One man said that it was probably a drawer pull. If so, that’s an easy replacement from inside the plane.
Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

yup- I'd bet money thats a drawer pull from the aviation Aisle at Home Depot. Measure the spacing. If it's 3.5" you can replace it for a whopping $3.03. FYI-You might have to get longer screws and they are undoubtedly metric, you can pick them up in the same aisle.
