Lets try this again. Having trouble attaching the right picture.
This picture shows a piece of plywood with a one and 7/16 inch radius holding my air ramp in a position according to plans page 36. Obviously, this does not put the flange in a position to rivet it to the firewall. Does the builder bend this radius further to put the flange in a position flat against the firewall? Is there a prescribed dimension for the flange to fall against the firewall that I am missing?

Yes, just cleco the ramp in place, drill and rivet. The natural bend that occurs with the pre-bend of the ramp is sufficient.

Thanks guys- Just so it is clear; the plywood is just there as an example of the bend called for in the plans. Just for the picture. I will bend the ramp so the flange will fit flush and with a nice fair curve. As the saying goes, drill, deburr, cleo, rivet! Building on. Rich.
