Just trying to save myself unneccesary grief with those tiny washers.
Is it necessary to fully assemble and adjust the aileron linkage during the trial wing fit? It seems more efficient to do it during final assembly.
I have loosely assembled it, just slipping the bolts into place and verified that rod lengths are OK. Can I put the wings away now?

I don't see why it would be an issue not to completely install the aileron, until you are ready. You know the linkage is the correct size and length don't worry about it.

Do it now

Rig the plane now and it will be one less item to do on final assembly. When your done you can leave the pushrods in the wing.

I build at home and I find it's a lot easier to do it all at home before the project makes it to the airport.

Small garage

I didn't mention that I build at home and only have 8 inches clearance with the wings on! Pushrods come out before wing removal.
