I know the f779 tail cone skin goes on the inside of the f778 and f773 skins but does it go under the f778 or on top of it? Is there any drawings that show this?
I have the F-779 skin on top of the F-778.
Looking at the intersection of all three of these skins from top to bottom is the F-779 top, F-778 middle and then F-773 on the bottom.
In general, the skins overlap such that rain water sheets from one to the other without encountering the seam, both in flight and sitting on the ground, to lower the chance of getting water through the joint.
