Advanced Panel assembly line: RV-7, RV-10, RV-7 and we shipped an RV-9 panel the day before. Our new Advanced Control Module takes the complication and headaches out of wiring your plane and installing a panel. We configure and thoroughly test every panel before we ship it saving you time, money and the usual panel install frustration we have seen through the years.

There are also a number of ways to get training with our Advanced EFIS systems. We offer hands on training at or office located just 5 miles from Van's Aircraft in Canby Oregon. Alex at RVTraining.com has an RV-10 in Dallas TX with dual AF-5600 EFIS screens and will have a RV-14 ready this summer with our Advanced IFR Quick panel. We are currently installing an Advanced IFR Quick Panel in Van's new RV-14 tail wheel airplane that Mike Seager will be using for factory training.

Question Rob,
What makes these IFR panels "Advanced"? Is there a "Basic" IFR that you didn't have a shot of?

Everything we do is "ADVANCED" :)

We have a VFR and IFR panel, the IFR has the following additional items:

1. GTN-650 or Avidyne IFD-540 GPS Navigator
2. Backup ADAHRS
3. Dynon D6 backup EFIS
4. Backup batteries
5. PS Engineering Audio Panel

We can also deliver you the IFR panel without the GPS Navigator, we install a cover over the hole or a second Com radio. You can then add the Navigator anytime, with our harness it will only take you about 5 minutes to wire :)
