8/30/10 -Mandatory software update for "s" series CPU units. Version S7.08.14-MV15 fixes several known issues and should be installed as soon as possible. Software is for "s" series CPUs (AF-3400s/AF-3500s/AF-4500s) systems only. Please download and follow the Software Installation Instructions available Here.

David: Thanks for the post. I presume the "s" indicates units with the new CPU, and therefore the upgrade is not needed on the older units. Is that correct?

's' vs. non 's' cpu's

Hi Bill,

As best as I understand it:

Non 's' CPU's: AF-3400,3500 non ?s? CPU (S/N: 60,000 ? 60,999)

's' CPU's: AF-3400s, 3500s, 4500s ?s? CPU (S/N: 61,000 +)

I got these from the update instructions on AFS's site.
