Hello All

My freshly minted Aerosport IO-360 needs cooling baffles. RV-7A.
Question: Will the Vans stock baffling fit? What have others used?

Also, While I have your attention, should I get mufflers with my Vetterman exhaust, or just do straight pipes?

I have a Sam James plenum that used many of the baffle parts.
I got the Vetterman heater box dual mufflers and use them in the winter in MD.

I believe the muffler setup makes more heat to keep you warm in winter.

Pereeder. If you have the tapered Continental/ECI cylinders like my AS IO-360, the van's baffling will work but will require some tricky fitting along the tapers. A previous post from long ago (Russ LaValle and Bill Repucci) posted templates for the cuts, see the attachments. BTW, the fitting of the cylinder baffles is a job best done before you hang the engine, preferably on a rotation stand. Take your time, it'll work!
