I need to increase my vacuum by about 1.5 inches of Hg. Can someone give me an ideal of how much you need to turn the control on the regulator?

Vacuum Regulator Adjustment

I need to increase my vacuum, but can't find which way turning the screw increases the vacuum. The only result of the search was when Webb asked the question, but I could not find any response.

Any help would be appreciated. I don't need much, just a smidgen.. Thanks in advance for any help.

Increase Vacuum

My recollection is turn the adjustment clockwise to increase vacuum and the opposite to decrease. This is normally a trial and error approach. Adjust run engine, readjust, run engine.... Good luck...
