Original idea from Kevin Horton to cover sharp edge. I thought I would give it a try. To my amazement I was done in about one hour. Blade from HF, $6. Tube 1/4, 5052 alum straight. I didn't prebend tube, just feed it on straight and bend a little a little as you go at the edges. Fit nicely stress free in place. Removed the tube. Sanded the sheet metal edge. Filled the tube with Goop adhesive (tape the slit and force goop from ends 8 inch then add some to the middle areas) and held it in place with safety wire to cure.
