I'm putting an A-4 stick grip in my -8, and of course the opening at the base is too big for vans stick. I'm on the road now and don't have the dia. of the stick opening, but am just curious how you guys make an adapter. I would really like to avoid a trip to a machine shop as I'm sure that can get costly.

Also, I want to use the collie hat trim sw. on the grip for my elec. trim. Curious what relay would work best and is most affordable.

Thanks for any info.

Relays

I'm using the Tosten grips and got the Matronics "Governor Mk III" Model #: GOVMKIII. Seems a nice small unit which allows adjustment of trim speed without affecting torque. Mine were temporarily wired up with the coolie hat on the Tosten grip and seemed to work fine. The Tostens come with sleeves which I just measured. O.D. front 0.924" or 59(-)/64ths. Rear 0.766 or 49(+)/64ths. Fwd stick I.D. 0.925 or 59(+)/64hts. Rear stick I.D. 0.80" or 51.4/64". Some discrepancies here but hope these are close enough to be useful. Bill
