ADAHRS and EMS fail
Brian,
First, do you have one or multi screens? If you have more than one screens, you have to update firmware on each screen individually. If you only do one, then you will have a Red X on your screen.
You need to be sure all of the boxes are connected up to the system so they can be update also.
Weather you have to update one or more screens, the system should have updated all of you boxes in the system. Sometimes it does not. To check your network do the following.
The following is out of the SkyView installation manual rev N on pages 4-9 and 4-10
Use the following procedure to configure a SkyView network:
1. Navigate to the CONFIGURE... Page (SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > NETWORK SETUP > CONFIGURE...).
2. Press DETECT. A successful network configuration yields the screen in Figure 20. On page 4-9
The screen should only be black background and the text is in white.
If you have any line highlighted in yellow, the box did not sync and the firmware needs to be updated for the box. Press button 7 on the bottom, just below the update to update the firmware of the highlighted box. This is shown in figure 21 on page 4-10
Then recheck and the text should be only white. Exit and check the screens and the red x should be gone.
