On page 10-14, I accidentally dimpled all 8 #27 holes instead of just the 6 holes called for on 1 of my tailcone side skins. Question is if it is OK to leave those 2 top holes dimpled in the end for the cover plate or do I need to flatten those 2 dimpled holes before proceeding?

If I understand correctly, the skin needs to fit flush against the longeron in the area of the 2 top holes, which is why they're not dimpled.

After the skin is riveted to the longeron, those 2 holes will be countersunk for a dimpled access plate on p 10-20 fig2, so flattening them now, then countersinking later should not be a big problem, but I'd ask Van's in case they have a preferred fix for that situation
