I have an AC mechanical fuel pump for my carbed O-320 and I want to get a rebuild kit for it. I believe there are kits that will tolerate some amount of alcohol (Mogas/10)
I tried; the mfgr claims that it takes a special jig to properly install the diaphragms (unlikely, but there you go). I was told to simply purchase an 'exchange' pump from any of the regular suspects. But the good news is, the 'rubber' parts in the pump are now the same fuel resistant materials used in automotive systems.
