Abby of Flightline Interiors is making me a seat drape that will extend from the Glare shield back to the rear seat. The purpose of the cover/drape is for those occasions when you are not going to be in the sun long enough to warrant installing a canopy cover. It will be clipped to the aft part of the glareshield and possibly tucked behind the rear seat. OK, here comes the favor. My fuselage is 60 miles away in the paint shop and I (Abby) need the cockpit internal dimensions. That is, distance from aft part of glareshield to top of rear seat and the lateral dimensions which I think are ~42 inches.

Cockpit Opening

Mine measures 55 in long from center edge of glare shield metal to rear seat back top.

Cockpit is 24 1/8" from inner rail edge to inner rail edge and 25 1/2" from outer rail edge to outer rail edge.

Center will need to be at least 30" wide to go over the seat support; if it were me I'd ask Abby to make it about 34" wide by 60" long to give you enough material to drape/tuck in.
