I believe it is the F-779 part that I?m thinking of, the thick (.040) piece of aluminum that goes on the very end of the tail cone.

Did you guys (and gals?) countersink or dimple this part? I suspect it should be countersunk but wanted to see what the rest of you did.

The answer is, do both.

Ken said to dimple the skin then hit it with the deburring tool.
