-8A with a IO360-M1B, heavy hartzell up front. No weights-and-balance yet, first flight in a couple of weeks.
Have heard that it can be difficult to keep the nose gear off the ground during solo, and others have used water jugs/cans in the baggage compartment for better control.
Since I intend to do some soft field flying, what amount of baggage weight do others use to compensate? Alternatively, has anyone computed the -8A CG sweet spot for "good" control?
