4ply or 6? Not at the plane, is it worth it to do the monster retreads or do they even fit?

Not sure what Vans supplies now, but 20 years ago, they supplied 4 ply tires. The 6 ply and Monster tires might require relocating your wheel pants, if you fit them tightly originally.

I run tires that have a 6-ply rating on my -8.

Goodyear says their 5.00-5, 6-ply rating tire has a rated load of 1285 pounds and a rated inflation pressure of 50 psi.

Their 4-ply rating tire has a rated load of 800 pounds and a rated inflation pressure of 31 psi.

Dresser has them but wanted 145 bucks to ship 2 tires, ordered normal 5x5.00 6 ply off of spruce for 10 bucks shipped

Wilkerson has good retreads at a good price. I got two 500-5/6ply for for my -8 for $174 (shipped).
