Is there in existence a kit to make an -8 into a tip up like the -4 w/o making it into a fastback?

Hi Blake,

I've never seen, or heard of a tip-over RV-8 canopy, but that's not to say it's never been done. I would suspect that you'd have to add some sort of cross bracing to replace the roll bar, since that appears to be used to strengthen the cockpit opening. That's just my guess though.

My best advice would be to forget about it.
