Quick question, probably a dumb one...

On my 7A upper cowling, on the right side way at the forward end, is one of those areas of "relieved" fiberglass where there is no honeycomb...just a small, maybe 3" x 4" or so rectangular area. It's like the area on the bottom cowling where the alternator needs a tad more space. But...there's nothing *up there* on the top RHS of the engine that needs this, so why is it there?

My understanding is

that it's for the angle valve (200HP) engine. The cylinders are bigger and need all the room they can get at this location. My 180HP just feesl a little less claustrophobic as a result.
