Couple of questions for those with the 796 GPS:
1. My battery went down into the red after a couple of weeks sitting on the desk. With the 496 I never had any battery issues even if it sat for some time, does anyone know what the life of the 796 battery should be with the unit in the OFF state? I am sure there are some "keep alive" things going on but a couple of weeks seems short. I did have BT turned on but not sure this should be an issue.
2. Any way to get the flight data into Flightbook like the 496? FB does not recognize the 796 and the manual just seems to talk about the embedded function.
