Looking for input on installing louvered air vents in engine cowling. My i0-360 just gets too hot in the Texas heat. Any recommendations on placement and, type of vents would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

hey there-Vans has some great (and dirt cheap) louvers with instructions.

If you want a possibly more slick solution take a look at the Antisplat electric cowl flap. Great product, people and support

Louvers were installed on my -6A when engine was

switched from O320 to (I)O360---have never had issue with any of the temps, even in worst FL summers--- looks like the Van's offering is the best deal. Friend of mine is ordering them for his -7A to help lower CHTs a bit.
