This is my first project as I'm sure it is for many of you. I just match drilled the spar doubler, reinforcement spars, and front spar sections only to discover that I'd done so at a slight angle due to the difference in length of the horizontal sections of HS-810 and HS-814. As a drill bit had previously walked on me when drilling HS-702 and since the HS-00003 part was $8 I'm giving the section a whole redo.
The one thing I haven't figured out is drilling the relief holes in the HS-702. The build plans list measurements that result in a final product looking nothing like the plans themselves.
My question is: do any of you have recommendations for those relief holes? Further, do any of you have pictures of yours? I'd greatly appreciate being one step closer to not spending $90 on a whole new front spar section.
