Retread Value

To me retreads make a lot of sense. The tread depth is more, the tread itself appears tougher, the shop makes sure the sidewalls (carcass) are fully serviceable, and the price is great. Turbo's choice looks like a great value. I've been flying the past 60 hours with Condor retreads and I'm also real pleased.

Desser tire.....

Is another retreader with locations in Memphis, Tn. and Montebello, Ca.

I've run their retreads on my Air Tractors for over ten years now and they cost $166 compared to over $300 at Spruce and last longer than OEM tires.

We do 10-12 landings a day in a 4000# empty airplane and over 8000# gross takeoff weight and they really hold up well. They also are pre-balanced (with a flat stuck on weight inside) at Desser with a red dot on the sidewall to orient next to the valve stem.
