a month or so i posted a request for a source of 3/32 countersunk blind rivets in 3-4 size. an update.....acs had aluminum in 3-4. someone recommended sonex for a source. sonex had the rivets in stainless steel and this rivet's head looked much better after being set than the aluminum. the head is fragile and easily bent to begin with and the s.s. rivet came out with less deformation than the aluminum head.
anyway......now you know where to find these rivets with the longer grip.

Just make sure you use the right countersink or dimple die...most of the pulled CS rivets are 120 degree heads, not 100.

Is there any risk of corrosion by using SS rivets with aluminium. My experience has been that in a marine environment it is practically impossible to stop corrosion of aluminium, when SS fittings touch it.
