Anybody have a thought on why the 3rd nutplate aft on the F-1226-L&R gets
CCR264SS-3-2 rivets instead of 426AD3-3.5?
Mine all have 426's installed. Don't ask.
 
I dont want to buy a rivet gunn and Backing bar!

In order to save the builder money on tools in certain locations Vans uses pop rivets instead of squeeze rivets on nut plates:). This way you don't have to buy a pneumatic rivet gun and bucking bar which is not on the tool list for the RV12. Also at these locations you will not be able to get your rivet squeezer in to squeeze the 426s.
