An aquaintance based at LS40 Ama St. Charles airport about 3 miles southwest of New Orleans International said that last night an RV6 veered into some trees on takeoff and both perished from the post crash fire.

Anyone have details what happened? Probably too early and I dont like post crash speculation, just would like to have more detail.

Be careful out there.......
