First flight went mostly great! 46 minutes into the flight above the field #2 EGT dropped from the 1200 range to 500-600 while the others remained in the 1200 range (not running wide open) Rough running engine but no issues on landing. Just running rough even on taxi back to ramp. Pulling cowling now. Any ideas?

IO-360 w/Precision injection.

First check the plugs and plug wires on #2. Compression test of course is in order on that cylinder.

No spark on one of the plugs will make the EGT go up not down.

Cruise along in flight and turn off one mag. Watch what happens to the EGTs.
 
Pull the plugs first on #2. Check...I bet they are wet. Clean and then do a compression check to make sure the valves are OK. Put the plugs back in and ground run. I bet all will be OK. 1200 is very rich on CHT...causing the plug to foul. I agree only one plug might raise the EGT....but one out and one missing will definately lower EGT.
