I'm looking for feedback on my #2 cylinder temperatures and it's reaction to mixture settings. It seems to me that the full rich mixture EGT changes drastically when I lean for cruise (typically I aim for 65% power, best economy). The engine is a stock O360, factory new 2008, fixed Sensenich, carbureted, Slick mags, 850 hours and has always performed well. I have owned the plane since 2019 and the EGT/CHT have reacted the same since that time. Engine data is downloaded from the Dynon Flightdek 180.

Change egt probe postion at dynon, same issue follows to new cylinder, the probe in some way is wonky. If not, then more research. Change plug and/or lead to #2. Good luck.
 
Savvy Aviation has a handful of tests to help you narrow down anomalies with your engine. A search of their website or anything from Mike Busch will point you in the right direction. If you get prepared and make a plan, you can do the tests in about a one hour flight.
