What is the best for the buck autopilot for an RV-7A? (there's a wide open question!). I'm only starting the Emp but am trying to plan ahead :D I plan to use my existing 196 for GPS.

Any info/personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

TruTrak ADI Pilot. Combines both autopilot with a backup electric attidude indicator.

Yeah!! Any TruTrac would be good based on your needs. Don't have one yet, but they will be my choice.

Thanks for the info. I will look into it :)

Roberta, I saw your thread on Oshkosh this year. I went Thursday and had a great time also. Many pictures of RVs and got to talk with builders. Awsome

Oshkosh is Great!!! Something for everyone and a wealth of info and products for us homebuilders. Wouldn't miss it.

I got to fly behind a TruTrak ADI Pilot before it came out on the market and I was very impressed. You can get flop the plane around in all kinds of attitudes and the needles follow you perfectly. Yes I got sick! Yes I bought one! :D
