First flight of N616LM was Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 4:30 PM. (Sound's like a baby announcement.) 616LM is an 8A, Lycoming IO360 A1B6 200 hp counterweight, Whirlwind WW151, Garmin 430, Dynon, Stormscope, TruTrak. Empty weight 1103 lbs as shown.
Anyhow, first flight was without drama, except for experiencing the performance offered by Van's genius. Have now flown four times, and am a little 1-D in not wanting to do much else but have the 3-D experience that this airplane provides.
