In my package, the stall switch mounting plate (VA-195-A) does not have an adjusting slot at the top. I picked up my wing kit at Van's last May ('12). Should I make an arc for adjustment or is adjustment done by some other means?

I was in the same boat. I called Van's and asked about my plate versus the one shown in the plans. They said it was a revised item, and I needed the one with the new adjusting slot. No charge, and I received it in the mail from them three days later. Just call them in the morning. No worries.
