I'm having an "I must be missing something moment". In addition to the upper longerons at about 15', there are 2 or 3 12' or so angles, from which the rudder stops are cut.
Have I missed something? Where are the rest of these used?
If you bought your wing kit before Vans upgraded the fuse kit to the 'prepunch', those angles were for the older fuselage kit skin stiffeners. They are now replaced by prepunched ones...thus 'extra'.

I dont know then! I have 'extra' 12' 3/4"x3/4" angle due to the prepunched stiffeners, and I bought my wing kit in 2007...the angle was included in the wing spar box.
I have the same "extra" angles in my -8 slowbuild kit ordered within the year...Ive been using them for support brackets FWF and other places so I'm happy to have them.
