Default What's going on at KVUJ?

As I was working on my -12 today, I kept hearing formation sounds and catching sight of some flights of four over in the direction of KVUJ (Albemarle, NC) which is about 4 miles from my house. I assumed it was Team Aerodynamix practicing, which they sometimes do at that airport. Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and drove over there. To my surprise, there were 24 RVs on the ground and some more landing. Anyone know what's going on? Maybe a massive RV formation fly by for the start of the NASCAR all star race?

We were fishing at Badin Lake. It was kind of distracting.

OH man was it great!!!!! the 4 hour DRIVE up was worth the hour flight time I got in the back seat of Jokers beautiful RV8. Special thanks to Kahuna and Team AeroDynamix for allowing Suzanne and I to ride along during the clinic. Gives a special appreciation for their professionalism, kindness, and showmanship.
Thanks guys!
