Default DRDT-2 head only
So I'm starting the empennage of a -8 kit.
Buying the DRDT-2 head and fabricating the frame (I'm cheap) The design calls for a throat depth of about 20".
Is this sufficient for most of a -8 QB or should it be deeper?

I made mine a bit deeper, glad I did.
