Default Thank You Doug Reeves

Hello everyone,
I went for my first RV flight today. Captain Doug Reeves
was in Command. Beautiful Texas sunrise flight. I normally stare out the
window of a MD-80 from the right seat at FL 350. Today was a little
different flying experience. I have known Doug for many years.
The last time we were in the same cockpit I was the instructor and
Doug the student. Today things were reversed. I am the lost hapless
student and Doug showed me what FUN a RV was! We flew for what seemed
like 5 minutes but I'm sure it was 4 times that or more. I just could not
quit smiling and laughing. I thought someone had given me some
laughing gas or something. I had been totally removed from General
Aviation for nearly 15 years. Doug reintroduced me to a wonderfull
plane and a very memorable experience.
Thank You

GM

Greg, you are VERY welcome!!! I had a great time this morning catching up with you and Mike. I think the last time you and I were in a GA plane before today we were in a 172 out of KADS. I think we ate at a 2 for 1 chicken fried steak place after the lesson.

Greg's a class act, ladies and gentlemen. RVation might just have a new fan.

b,
d

Welcome to the forum. That first ride can end up pretty costly for being free!

Default Welcome

Yep,
That ride will bring back the fun that was missed so long ago! After 36 years of back-n-forth crop dusting, my RV is the adrenaline rush that provides the ZING in flying!!
