Default Mr. "Van" and the RV-14

Hi guys, I want to share this short interview with Mr. "Van" made by one of the leaders of VFRTeam (the team that founded this forum www.vfrflight.net and this web magazine www.vfrmagazine.net, which are the most important here in Italy).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeUE_ZRN0XY

Enjoy

We could all learn a lot from Vans humility. I noted several very select choice of words he used.

I ended up back stage at the Theater in the Woods with Van last summer. It was just he and I there and I wasn't quite sure what to talk about with him. I asked a couple of questions about the newly unveiled RV-14. I was surprised at the depth in which he described the process and reasoning for the design as well as the new innovations.

He seems like a genuine and gracious man.

Jessie I will add my 2 cents, he could have had a bad day who knows, I agree with most people who have met him, he is a great guy and very down to earth. He is an unbelievable ambassador for builders and aviation in general. I have had a few opportunities to hear him speak and see him at various shows. At this year?s SnF also had the chance to talk to him personally. He sincerely wanted to know about my 12, the build experience and flying characteristics. He was not in a hurry and just had a conversation with a RV owner.

Peg had taken a few pics. She asked later who that was I was talking to.
