Looks like I finally made the front page of VAF. Or at least my panel did.



I have to echo many of the positive sentiments I've already seen on the board about Bill at Up North Aviation. He was a delight to work with and always prompt in communicating. He went the extra mile to contact a manufacturer when there was a dimensional discrepancy between the data sheet and the installation manual. He also knew little (but very important) details like that Garmin's GTX320A transponder was shipped with two possible different trays, each with a slightly different height dimension. The result is that my panel came out exactly as I wanted it with every dimension just perfect.

If I'm fortunate enough to build another aircraft in the future, or for panel upgrades, I'm definitely going back to Bill.
