Default Booyah! Made the Big Cut.

That wasn't soooo bad.

70 degrees F. in Garage - Vans Supplied Cutoff wheel in pneumatic die grinder - Cut full depth on first pass - Properly supported and back-taped every 8" or so - edges (so far) sanded with 220 grit on an orbital sander - Pretty much a non event so far.

I about had a heart attack - I set the windshield piece on the plane and went to get the slider half, from across the garage i watched the windshield slide forward across the forward fuse and fall to the ground and bounce! I thought for sure that sucker was going to break in two... Whew! Never get complacent i guess.

Certainly another milestone! Remember not to move it around too much before you sand the edges.

Default Congrats!

Way to go, buddy! I've heard that the canopy cut on the 2 seaters has a high pucker factor. I imagine your heart skipped a beat or two, seeing your front half fall to the floor. Man, am I going to be waaaaay behind you now that I went slow build fuse...
