Booyah! Made the Big Cut.
That wasn't soooo bad.
70 degrees F. in Garage - Vans Supplied Cutoff wheel in pneumatic die grinder - Cut full depth on first pass - Properly supported and back-taped every 8" or so - edges (so far) sanded with 220 grit on an orbital sander - Pretty much a non event so far.
I about had a heart attack - I set the windshield piece on the plane and went to get the slider half, from across the garage i watched the windshield slide forward across the forward fuse and fall to the ground and bounce! I thought for sure that sucker was going to break in two... Whew!  Never get complacent i guess.
