Default Slider Frame Interference with Aft skin.

I think I've got my slider frame pretty well happy and inset 1/16-1/8" inboard of the fuselage sides and aft deck.... Problem is, now when I slide the frame back, the inside corners strike the aft deck skin as the pass by. I would bet this is pretty common. What are my chances this goes away when the bubble is on and spreads the frame?

Thanks

Fairly good chances - I had the same problem, caught it by about 1/32". You can also use an edge roller to roll the aft deck skin inward to give it a bit of "ramp" to ride up on instead of catching on the edge.

Had the same problem. Based on the advice of a very experienced local builder, I just trimmed the skin back a little bit.

Same issue. Called Van's and they said I could trim the turtle deck skin back. You can tell after the skirts on on that there is pleanty of meat left to trim.
Now that my canopy is finished it doesn't hit except the first skirt rivet catches. I like Airguy's idea. I think that would be just enough.
