Van's Sun and Fun Engine/Propeller Special

Van's has it's engine/propeller show special shown on its website off the home page. However, at least for the YIO-360-M1B, the RV Builder's Show Price is the standard Van's price ($28,700) and the propeller is the standard Van's price and the $1,000 discount when bundled is the standard $1,000 bundled price offer. The savings apparently is in the free shipping (a $179 value) and whatever Lycoming charges for Long-Term engine preservation.

I am glad Van's normally offers a good price on the experimental new Lycomings but am also underwhelmed by the "special," which is in the 1% range. Okay then.
