Default trim tab travel

Goodmorning all,
Have searched the threads and building plans, but have not found information on suggested elevator trim tab up/down travel settings....RV-8
Presently have 25degrees up/19degrees down???

Terry - I'm pretty sure that it is in the Builder's manual...I know that I got it somewhere, because I rememebr having to fiddle with it a bit to get what I needed. Sorry I can't be more specific - don't have the book handy. I think it is near the back.

I will re-read and try to find it. I did find a chart that had elevator and rudder travel???

Default Trim tab

Hi Terry,
Just make sure that the arm of the trim motor is in its mid-travel position when you hook it up to the elevator trim tab, adjusting the threaded rod to fit the flush tab. Trust me, you'll have WAY more travel than you'll ever need!
