Default wingtip rivet hiding?

The wingtips have ribs, we all know that. Did you try to hide them with filler and go with a glass smooth look, or did you leave to look like the rest of the riveted airframe?

I'm leaning toward leaving them. They are even, set well, and I don't want to get into massive dimple filling and potential cracking later.

Thoughts? Rick 90432

Default

As long as they are even and well set, I would leave them. It's metal airplane. Rivets are supposed to be there.
