Default placards for fuel tanks

My new RV-7A that I purchased from a builder does not have placards (avgas 100 octain) for the fuel tanks at the cap openings. The builder said his DAR did not require them. My A&P however suggests I put them on anyway for safety. What have other builders been doing for placards? If most builders have been putting them on, where should I get them from? Are engraved caps available that say" AVGAS - 100 OCTAIN"

Thanx Very much.

Victor

I take my caps to the local engraver, he charges about $18.00. I take them home spray paint them red and when the paint dries I wipe the paint off with thinners. This leaves the engraved letters/numbers red. Then I polish the caps surface. Looks great.

Not financially affiliated, but here's another one to make the choice more difficult...

The domain name says it all, right? Bill Esther did my fuel caps and fuel selector plate, and I have one of his fuel cap tools -- he does nice work!
