Default Garmin Non-certified Avionics

As an RV-12 owner, my avionics package comes from Dynon. I've had excellent experience with that company and their equipment. When compared to the "Big Gorilla" - Garmin - and their certified products, Dynon's are a steal. The Home-Built side of GA is relatively robust, and has certainly been leading the way for some time with features and value. I believe Dynon has matched Garmin in unit sales, or even surpassed them.

Well, the Big Gorilla noticed this situation, and has moved out boldly to take a nice piece off this pie. I believe in competition, but hope the Big Gorilla only wants a piece, and not the whole enchilada, as Dynon customers need a healthy and viable supplier going forward.
